I have lost track of the number of restaurant reviews, chef profiles, trend round-ups and food-related features I have written since 2002. I was an anonymous restaurant reviewer for San Francisco magazine from 2002–2009, during which time I also wrote many other food-related stories. I launched the San Francisco edition of Tasting Table in 2009, and wrote five stories a week for a year. As senior editor and then editor in chief for Tasting Table, I continued to write stories and reviews. The mind—and the digestive system—reels.
